FOMO, Post-op, and this and that

Good morning all,

My peeps all went back to work today. I have a major MAJOR case of FOMO. (Fear Of Missing Out) I love my job and I especially love everyone I get to see every day. I think I said it before, but it is so cool that I have worked at two schools in my career, and they both are filled with the most caring, thoughtful, dedicated, and FUN people. I really do enjoy the company of everyone I work with. It makes such a difference, and makes it hard not to go back when everyone else does.

From my house I can hear the bells ring at my old school. Nothing like rubbing it in.

Today is my post-op appointment. I have a list of questions to ask, and I hope I get a gauge as to whether I am on track or should be doing more. I feel like walking more, but I hurt after I do... soooooo? My surgeon will be able to tell me today.

I got to leave my house yesterday! My husband dropped me off for lunch and Christmas tree trimming at my mom's house. I ate the yummy lunch, but just watched the tree trimming. It was so good to get out and about a bit. I was thinking tomorrow I would hit the mall... Just kidding.

Sorry if there are tons of typos on this blog. I can't be bothered with rereading before I publish. Don't tell my students!

  3. Glad you got to hang with your mom and watch the tree come together. That sounds rather festive. How did things go today??? Been thinking about you.
